| Peter Pettegrew was born
and raised in California, in the Monterey Bay area. His artistic bent
appeared at an early age, and by the time he graduated from the Art
Institute of Fort Lauderdale, he was on his way to establishing himself as
one of America's more accomplished and better-known landscaped artists.
Pettegrew maintains his studio in the
Orlando area, making frequent painting forays to the marshes of his home
state, as well as those of Georgia and South Carolina. Loose and
impressionistic, his work is avidly sought after by collectors and museums
